Matthew Clevell is promoted to Captain and given command of a mission to the outskirts of the galaxy, to colonize a world.
He gets to design his own ship and select the crew to offer the mission to. Volunteer mission.
Contacts retired professor Dr Keiko O'Brien for suggestions of botany students that might want to join the mission. Wanting lots of botany students, at least students that took botany classes.
