Ship notes:
Commander Clevel designs the ship he will be Captain of for the journey.
"Four Front" or "Forefront" - 10 Forward equivalent. Primary lounge and replomat bar.
Holographic emitters on every deck, in every hall, in every room.
Each deck hallway system has hatches to space for quick evacuation of air in case of hostile takeover attempt... Bulkheads in halls are equipped with phaser turrets that recognize authorized crew and will only fire upon unauthorized DNA and/or physical parameters.
Shuttle and cargo bays have weapons lockers, in case of take over that gets past hallway defenses. Any area that could be used to confine crew during hostile takeover.
Cargo bays converted to multi-level hydroponics bays, food to supplement replicators. Mainly used for lunches and snacks, with most crew chosing their own breakfasts and dinners, with the occasional special dinners. Fruits and veggies for real nutrition.
Area for various religions to practice. It's going to be a ten year journey, people will want to practice their home planet's beliefs during that time. Several religious texts are brought along.
Put the Bridge in the middle of the saucer not on the edge! Clevell wants a more protected bridge than most ships have. This comes in handy during an attack on the way out of the galaxy.
Sickbay with independent power source.
Excess of escape pods and shuttles.
Excess or torpedoes and phasers.
Secondary shields necessary for the planetary approach, comes in handy with empire between Earth and the edge.
